Luas: Mining ponds used in survey different from Bestari Jaya water sources


SHAH ALAM: The former mining ponds used in the survey conducted by University Malaya (UM) are different from the ones being used by the Selangor as alternative water sources, says infrastructure and public facilities exco Dr Yunus Hairi.

He said the study conducted by UM in 2009 dealt with different ponds to the ones in Bestari Jaya used to pump water into the Selangor river for treatment.
