Selangor exco, legal advisor to work with Jais to return bibles

PETALING JAYA: Selangor executive councillor for Islamic Affairs Sallehen Mukhyi and state legal advisor Datuk Nik Suhaimi Nik Sulaiman will assist the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) in returning all items seized from the Bible Society of Malaysia (BSM), said Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.

He said that the state government welcomed the statement of Attorney General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail that there was no case against BSM over the seizure of the bibles and no prosecution would be made.
