JOHOR BARU: The inclusion of the word “Raja” in various clauses of the state’s Real Property and Housing Board Bill 2014 was to provide a check and balance and to represent the sovereignty of the Ruler.
Johor Council of the Royal Court president Datuk Abdul Rahim Ramli said the term “Raja” was in many existing enactments and no concerns had been raised about them.
