PETALING JAYA: There is no provision in the Johor State Constitution which requires the formal appointment by the Sultan of board members carrying out general administrative functions, a law expert said.
Under the Johor Real Property and Housing Board Bill 2014, the Sultan would, on the advice of the mentri besar, appoint board members, among others.
