GOMBAK: Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has chided the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) for entering a Hindu temple to stop a wedding, stating that Jais should go back to the Quran to seek guidance.
Dr Mahathir said Jais needed to refer to the Quran to find out how to handle such situations instead of following the interpretations of some.
