PETALING JAYA: There is a need to strengthen existing penalties and other methods of punishment and rehabilitation in rape cases to put a stop to such acts, said Wanita MCA.
Its chief Datuk Heng Seai Kie said the Attorney-General Chambers and relevant authorities should review current rape laws to determine if they were sufficient to deter would-be rapists.
