PUTRAJAYA: Both sellers and the new owners involved in the transfer of ownership of their vehicles will need to go through a biometric verification process within seven days with the Road Transport Department (JPJ).
JPJ director-general Datuk Seri Ismail Ahmad said the procedure, which would be in force from tomorrow, requires both parties to provide their biometric data at any JPJ counter in order to proceed with the ownership transfer.
