KUALA LUMPUR: In an apparent move to contain diesel smuggling, enforcement officers from the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry may be placed at certain locations for only limited periods.
Touching on the anti-diesel smuggling campaign Ops Titik launched on May 15, minister Datuk Seri Hasan Malek said the ministry was thinking of placing enforcers at any location for not more than three years at a time.
