KUALA LUMPUR: Police have put a major dent in the illicit drug trade in the country with the capture of an Iranian drug kingpin.
The Special Tactical Intelligence Narcotics Group (Sting) which made the bust yesterday had earlier arrested two Nigerians in Bukit Jalil and seized 9.4kg of syabu.
No other details were available.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar tweeted his congratulations to Sting on the arrest via his official Twitter account @KBAB51 yesterday.

He sent the tweet from the the 34th Asean Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in Manila, Philippines.
