KOTA KINABALU: Malaysian and Philippines intelligence agencies are trying to ascertain whether “bigger personalities”, including fugitive former Moro National Liberation Front leader Nur Misuari, are linked to cross-border kidnappings in Sabah.

“We are studying all possibilities,” Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said yesterday when asked if they believed that Misuari might be behind the spate of abductions since the Sulu intrusion into Lahad Datu last year.
