PETALING JAYA: Several senior police officers will be transferred under the latest reshuffle announced by Bukit Aman.
Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Samah Mat, currently the Prime Minister’s Department Protection Division director, will be transferred to Selangor as the police chief with the rank of Senior Deputy Comm.
Negri Sembilan deputy police chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Abd Manan Mohd Hassan will replace DCP Abdul Samah with the rank of Deputy Comm.
Terengganu deputy police chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Hamzah Md Jamil will be transferred to Negri Sembilan as the deputy police chief.
Asst Comm Saiful Azly Kamaruddin, who is the Federal management department’s recruitment unit asssistant director, will be transferred to the crime prevention department as the assistant director of crime prevention, volunteer police, auxiliary police, Rela and Civil Defence Department with the rank of Senior Asst Comm.
Inspector-General of Police secretariat (administration) officer-in-charge Asst Comm Dr Mustafa Khan Abdul Samat will be transferred to the Police Academy as the Asst Comm of police science studies.
Kuala Lumpur traffic police chief Asst Comm Rusli Mohd Noor will be transferred to Penang as the Seberang Prai Tengah OCPD.
