KUALA LUMPUR: Authorities will not use the Prevention of Crime Act (PCA) on organisers and participants of a planned May Day rally as there are sufficient laws to deal with any incidents, said Deputy Home Minister Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
He said the Peaceful Assembly Act (PAA) and the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma) were adequate should authorities be required to take action.
