KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia and China will continue to work closely in the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
In his latest post on Facebook yesterday, Najib said he held a meeting with China’s Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Zhang Yesui at Parliament House yesterday to discuss further action to locate the lost aircraft.
Zhang later paid a courtesy call on Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein at the Putra World Trade Centre here.
On Tuesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping said he would send Zhang to consult with the Malaysian government over the missing plane.
A total of 154 of the 239 people onboard the aircraft were Chinese nationals. — Bernama
