KUALA LUMPUR: The government remains focused on the search and rescue operations and not on the issue of a possible financial bail-out for Malaysia Airlines (MAS) should it incur losses linked to the crash of MH370.

"We are looking at the search-and-rescue. We will not entertain that kind of questions," said  Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein when asked how the government was preparing to assist MAS if it had to ask for a bailout to withstand any MH370-linked financial losses.
