NO applications have been made with the Syariah courts by any Muslim or convert to renounce Islam, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom.
However, he said there were applications to the Syariah courts with regards to an individual’s status as Muslim.
