Port Klang schools closed today


Diehard fan: A fishing enthusiast braving hazy conditions at the Putrajaya Lake at 10am yesterday.

KLANG: All schools in the district have been ordered closed today after Port Klang recorded a very unhealthy reading of 233 in the Air Pollutant Index (API) at 5pm yesterday.

Selangor education director Datuk Mahmud Karim, who issued the directive, said: “The schools will be closed on Friday. When they will reopen will depend on API readings.”
