TANJUNG MALIM: Teacher quality issues must be addressed if Malaysia’s aspiration is to be among the top one-third of countries in terms of educational excellence, said Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
To that end, he said the Education Ministry had approved RM5mil for Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris under the National Innovation Centre Research Grant Scheme titled Development of a Teacher Education Model for Preparing Quality Teachers for the Future.
