A 23-year-old woman in Hapurarea, North India, called off her wedding after the groom arrived for the ceremony drunk, reported Tamil Nesan.
Upset with the groom’s drunken state, the woman’s parents and relatives held him and his entourage hostage for hours until police intervened.
