KLANG: AEON Co. (M) Bhd has launched an interactive mobile application for its shoppers called iButterfly Asia.
In a statement, AEON said the app can be downloaded by shoppers on selected devices, including iPhone and iPad, and used to receive cash rebates and discounts on selected items, among others.
It said the butterfly was assimilated into AEON’s 30th anniversary to signify rebirth and change for the better.
This was announced during the company’s 30th anniversary celebration at AEON Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre here yesterday.
In the year-long celebration, themed “A New Beginning with You”, AEON will organise numerous activities to express gratitude to its members, business partners, shareholders and community members.
Customers can also expect price cuts on certain items this year, including apparels and household items.
Present at the event was AEON chairman Datuk Abdullah Mohd Yusof, managing director Nur Qamarina Chew, executive director Poh Ying Loo, senior general manager for GMS operations Yukiyo Komatsu and senior general manager for SC business division Kenichi Suenami.
Nur Qamarina said AEON aims to focus its efforts in several areas, including customer service.
