PUTRAJAYA: A loan of RM5,000 has been allocated to fishermen’s associations as a working capital for them to start their own business at farmers’ markets.
Fisheries Development Authority of Malaysia (LKIM) chairman Datuk Irmohizam Ibrahim said this was the start of the initiative following the launch of the war against middlemen in the fisheries sector programme by Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob recently.
