Lorry driver slashed to death after making ATM withdrawal


IPOH: A lorry driver died after three machete-wielding masked-men slashed him in front of a bank near Ipoh Padang here Saturday.

Ipoh district police chief ACP Sum Chang Keong said T. Eswaran, 27, who was seriously injured on the head in the attack at 9.15am, died at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) here at 10.30am.
