PETALING JAYA: Mobile phones and television sets appear to be must-have items, with over 4.5 million Malaysian households having handphones and over 5.4 million owning a television set.
According to the Population and Housing Census 2010, the number of Malaysian households owning mobile phones shot up nearly three times within a decade, compared to about 1.3 million in 2000.
