PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has stepped in to ease tensions arising from the 'Allah' controversy, calling for calm among Malay non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to preserve stability and harmony.
Umno supreme council member Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, who arranged a meeting between the NGOs and Prime Minister here Thursday, said the meeting was important to prevent disunity among Muslims.
