BETONG: An officer from the Social Welfare Department has been assigned to meet two pupils, who were allegedly told to eat grass, to gather details and to provide counseling if there is a need for it.
A 26-year-old English language teacher of a Chinese vernacular primary school in Sungkai, Perak, had allegedly instructed the Year Four pupils to wear bells around their necks, told them to eat grass and called them lembu (cows) after they failed to complete their English assignments.
