PETALING JAYA: Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was denied entry into Tokyo because he had allegedly failed to satisfy conditions stipulated under Japanese Immigration laws, says a Japanese Immigration official.
According to the official at the Narita International Airport, the authorities had the right to deny entry to any person who had failed to fulfil conditions stipulated under Article 7 of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act.
