TANAH MERAH: Homes of evacuees along the Thai-Kelantan border are safe from break-ins and thefts under the watchful eyes of the police, who have intensified security over the 145km stretch between Tumpat and Batu Melintan in Jeli during the flood season.
Kelantan police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman said police will monitor properties of victims housed at relief centres during the flood season that is expected to extend till March.
