KUALA LUMPUR: A RM10mil defamation suit filed by opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim against academician Dr Chandra Muzaffar over words uttered at a forum has been resolved in a High Court here.
High Court judge Justice Nik Hasmat Nik Mohamad recorded consent judgment in the presence of counsel N. Surendran and Latheefa Koya, who acted for Anwar, while counsel Datuk Firoz Hussein Ahmad Jamaluddin for Dr Chandra.
