IPOH: A former lecturer from Institut Teknologi Perak (ITP) was jailed a day and fined RM25,000 for accepting bribes from two students as an inducement to increase their marks for the Mathematics and Statistics papers.
Wong Chee Wai, 41, pleaded guilty at a Sessions Court here yesterday to soliciting and receiving bribes from Nor Azmira Nor Mohamad and Muhamad Faezrul Udaman.
