KUALA LUMPUR: The Foreign Ministry has advised Malaysians to avoid travelling to areas where a series of bomb explosions have occurred in southern Thailand.

The ministry, in a statement late Monday, said Malaysians should consider temporarily postponing any non-essential visit to southern Thailand for personal safety and security reasons.
