Selangor objects to any toll hike on Sprint highway

SHAH ALAM: At the instruction of the Selangor state government, Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) has conveyed its opposition and objection to any impending proposal by Sistem Penyuraian Trafik KL Barat Holdings Sdn Bhd (SPRINT) to increase toll charges in 2014. 

SPRINT Holdings is the operator of the SPRINT Expressway.

KDEB holds a 20% equity stake in SPRINT Holdings via its majority ownership in Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad.

The state government's objection to the proposed increase was conveyed by KDEB to the Board of Directors of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad. - Bernama
