KUALA LUMPUR: Students going to medical schools abroad must ignore unscrupulous agents who claim that they do not need to get the “no objection certification” (NOC) from the Education Ministry.
P. Kamalanathan, the Deputy Education Minister said that the NOC was mandatory in response to the Malaysian Medical Association’s (MMA) request for the Government to review or withdraw accreditation of foreign medical colleges that failed to meet the standards set by the Government.
