One million Klang Valley residents to face water supply disruptions next week


KUALA LUMPUR: About one million residents in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur will face water supply disruptions on Tuesday, following a temporary partial stop-work at the Sungai Selangor Phase 2 water treatment plant.

Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas) said in a statement that the disruption would begin at 8am on Dec 17, and supply would be restored in stages beginning at 9pm.
