Sultan: Use stadium for sports only

KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan of Selangor has advised that the Shah Alam stadium should only be used for sporting events while entertainment activities such as concerts should be disallowed.

Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah said he had informed Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim of his proposals following concerns that the stadium facilities and maintenance were “not up to par”.
