KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, has no objections over the salary hike for the Mentri Besar and other state elected representatives, provided they prove their worth.
He said with the increase in salaries, the rakyat would expect more from the state government and the state government would have to work harder to fulfil their election pledges on improving infrastructure and other basic necessities.
