RESIDENTS of the relatively quiet Batu Maung township on the island’s south-west district, which is famous for its seafood, are bracing themselves for the impending traffic once the second Penang bridge opens to the public.
Megan Ee, 27, an administrative assistant, who lives just five minutes away from the new bridge, says she expects more cars to flood the area during peak hours.
