PETALING JAYA: The security industry needs to redeem and audit itself as the public no longer trust its guards, according to several groups.
Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) vice-chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said the 751 security companies operating in the country needed to be fully audited to ensure their competency and credibility to provide safety to the public.
