KOTA KINABALU: The death of self-proclaimed Sulu sultan Jamalul Kiram III, who ordered the armed intrusion into Sabah in February, is not likely to dilute the security threat posed by Sulu militants to the state.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib said Jamalul was on the wanted list by Malaysian police for his role in the Sulu intrusion, led by his brother Agbimuddin Kiram, into Kampung Tanduo in Lahad Datu.
