A total of 2,002 transactions of diesel sold under the Lembaga Kemajuan Ikan Malaysia diesel subsidy scheme ended up being even further subsidised, costing the Government RM8.14mil.
The Auditor-General’s report 2012 revealed that diesel had been sold to Zone C2 vessels at the super-subsidised price of RM1.25 per litre, instead of RM1.80 per litre.
