GEORGE TOWN: Seven candidates who were hoping to compete in the upcoming Umno elections were barred from filing their nomination papers after they were suspended from the party on allegations of sabotaging it during GE13.
''This was due to several reasons, including sabotage to the party during the 13th general elections,'' said State Umno liasion secretary Datuk Musa Sheikh Fadzir.
