KUALA LUMPUR: Incumbent MIC president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel, who has retained the party’s top post unopposed, said he might stay on until after 2016.
“More than 3,000 branch chairmen are urging me to stay. After seeing the overwhelming support today, I will make a good and appropriate decision in 2016,” he said, adding that he was also willing to face contest for the position.
