KUALA LUMPUR: Public policies should not be used to monitor morality and religion, former minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Zaid Ibrahim said.
Responding to a question by a participant at the Seventh Malaysian Student Leaders Summit (MSLS), Zaid said that there is a place for monitoring of morality and religion, but not through laws and regulations imposed by the government.
