KUALA LUMPUR: Speed limits will be reduced by 10 km per hour for all federal and state roads during the duration of the Ops Selamat 3 road safety operation in conjunction with the Aidilfitri festive season from Aug 1 till Aug 18.
Works Minister Datuk Fadillah Yusof said during the period, the speed limit on federal roads would be reduced from 90kmh to 80kmh while for state roads to 70kmh from 80kmh.
