GEORGE TOWN: An engineer was fined RM7,000 in default seven months' jail by the Magistrate's Court here Thursday after pleading guilty to careless and inconsiderate driving that resulted in the death of an air stewardess in 2010.
Tan Chia Hui, 25, was also ordered by Magistrate Sri Pracha Nanthini Balabedha to pay RM4,000 compensation to the victim's family.
