KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will call up the couple who insulted the Islamic month of Ramadan by uploading in their Facebook page a photograph of a dish that touched the sensitivities of Muslims in the country.
The Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Datuk Jailani Johari said Tan Jye Yee, 25, and Vivian Lee, 24, would be called up to give a statement on the case, which drew much protest from various quarters.
