KUALA LUMPUR: Two cancer patients in Boston, United States, who were also HIV-positive, no longer show signs of the virus in the blood after receiving bone marrow transplants to treat their lymphoma, it was revealed during a health conference here Wednesday.
The patients, suffering from cancer for years, received bone marrow transplants after undergoing extensive treatment previously.
