Police plan to reintroduce e-plate system to combat crime


SUNGAI SIPUT: The police plan to reintroduce the usage of the electronic number plate (e-plate) system for all vehicles as another measure to combat crime.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the police felt that it was time to bring about the plan as the number of vehicle thefts was rising.
