BUTTERWORTH: A two-year-old toddler who was pinned under eight people who were allegedly going through an exorcism died due to suffocation, a Sessions Court here heard.
Penang Hospital Forensic Department director Datuk Dr Zahari Noor said a thorough inspection on Chua Wan Xuen’s cadaver showed that there were traces of blood in her respiratory system. He said that meant that the child was still breathing when she was pinned down.
