Scalded army officer gets RM100,000

SEREMBAN: A 26-year-old female army officer who suffered burns and scalding after a wok of hot oil fell on her at a restaurant here was awarded almost RM100,000 in damages by the Sessions Court.

Judge Elesabet Paya Wan also ordered Nelayan Seafood and Catering, located in Rahang here, to pay interest and costs to Capt Nurul Syazwani Azman Shah who suffered 34% burns on her right arm, back and lower body.
