PETALING JAYA: Malaysians have mixed feelings about a reported proposal by Indonesia for "live-out maids", which calls for maids to work for a family eight hours a day before returning to accommodation provided by their respective agencies.
Under the proposed concept, maids will have one day of rest a week and, if required to work longer than eight hours, will be paid overtime.
