MALACCA: Malacca and Indonesia are proposing to introduce a new gateway for Indonesian workers to travel and work in Malacca, especially in industries located in coastal areas, on a daily basis.
Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Idris Haron said that through the new initiative, Indonesian workers living in Dumai, Bengkalis and Pulau Rupat could coomute to and from Malacca on a daily basis under the supervision of the Malaysian Immigration Department.
